What does the Wine-Tasting Boat Tour include?

Includes a 50-minute cruise on an electric wooden boat along the Ljubljanica River and an expertly guided tasting of a selection of local wines served during the ride

What wines are available, and where do you get them from?

A selection of premium local Slovenian wines (white, red, and sparkling) is available in combination with matching finger food.

The wine selection is pre-selected. The provider is Wine Bar Šuklje (a selection of more than 450 of the best wine labels from Slovenia and around the world).

A sommelier will also be on board to guide you through the finest Slovenian wines.

Can we get other drinks on the boat?

Yes, there are also soft drinks (including water and juices) and beer available.

How many people do you accommodate for a wine tasting at a time on the boat?

The boat accommodates up to 12 people for a more intimate tasting on the current Wine-Tasting Boat Tour.

However, larger closed groups can also be arranged. In this case, they are part of a separate cruise and do not mix with the Wine Tasting Boat Tour.

Can the Wine-Tasting Boat Tour be customized as a private event?

Of course! It is possible to book a private tasting with additional services such as catering (finger food) or a guided tour.

In this case, it is a Private Boat Rental. Of course, we also arrange a sommelier and wine tasting as part of the experience. Let's discuss.

Private Boat Rental is also priced differently and allows for complete customization of the experience with catering, etc.

How far in advance should we book a date?

We recommend booking at least 3 to 7 days in advance to secure your desired date and allow time for any adjustments. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible if the boat is available.

Is there a guide on the boat who explains the sights along the way? Can we ask questions?

Of course!

We are one of the few (maybe even the only) boats on the Ljubljanica River where the captain and helmsman (assistant) live, tell stories, explain the surroundings, and answer your questions during our 50-minute Wine-Tasting Boat Tour (and other regular tours).

Questions are always welcome, and we are happy to answer them (if we can).

Is there a sommelier on board to explain the characteristics of the wines? Can we ask questions?

The Wine-Tasting Boat Tour was prepared in collaboration with Wine Bar Šuklje (selection of over 450 best wine labels from Slovenia and all over the world).

Sommelier will also be on board to guide you through the finest Slovenian wines.

Can you issue company invoices, e-invoices, etc.?

Of course.

When boarding or booking, let us know and we will send you an invoice by email or post as agreed. We will arrange it correctly.
